Our wedding weekend in the South of France was the most magical time. We’d not met Luke beforehand but as soon as he arrived it was as though we’d known him forever. He played a huge part in ensuring we were as relaxed as possible while capturing some absolutely stunning moments. Each time we look through the photos taken we find new moments that we previously hadn’t seen. He has such a great eye for capturing photos with such candour it was a delight to have him there. We couldn’t recommend Luke more as a photographer!

Incredible. Even that word doesn’t seem to come close to summing up how we feel about our pictures and videos from our Italian wedding. There are no words to explain how grateful we are to you for not only creating memories that will last forever but sharing our day with us. It’s been two months now and there has not been a day that goes by we haven’t looked at our photos, video or both. I guess that is why I have taken my time writing this - because writing a review sadly means it’s all over. Before I had even met Ben, I knew I wanted you to photograph my wedding one day. Your images conjure up so many emotions & I just knew it had to be you. When I showed him, there was never any doubt that we had to have you both with us on our special day... and turns out flying you to Italy was how it was done! You were SO much more than photos and video. Companions, friends, peace keepers, organisers, shoulders to cry on & in particular managing to calm me down out of numerous panics. It was fun, memorable & comforting knowing you were with us. Working in 34 degree direct sun, trudging around sorrento with all your equipment - you worked tirelessly. Watching you work together, get excited by ideas and bouncing off each other was as memorable to us as our wedding day and we will treasure the whole experience in our hearts. We initially hired Luke because we had seen the photos he had done for some friend's weddings and we absolutely loved them! They are natural, elegant and artistic. All the components you want for the most perfect wedding photos. From the moment we booked him he was nothing but honest with us and he always kept us in the know with what was going on, even though he lives in France. Luke is very down to earth and so personable which is great for your wedding day as you want someone you can really feel comfortable around. He sat with us when getting ready at my parents house and chattered away, he wasn't afraid to join in the conversation and make everyone laugh with his stories. Luke is so professional and you can just tell how much he loves photography, it doesn’t really seem like a job for him (also he is not pushy which can be a hard balance to strike when trying to shoot a wedding, and what we had noticed with other people’s photographers). Luke really will go to any length to try and get the best photos for you which is most definitely reflected in his work. We completely fell in love with our photos and how he somehow managed to capture all the special moments not just of us but between our guests in the most natural way possible. The photos were ready pretty much straight away, and the album was prepared equally as fast! We really couldn't recommend Luke enough. Thank you so much

Luke's photography has always had an editorial look which I love. His photography style is so unique and he captures the magic of emotion and the surroundings to create such beautiful stories through imagery. During the day he listened to what we wanted but was able to guide and direct us where we needed help. Luke took a step back at times which enabled us to enjoy romantic moments together, allowing for more natural pictures...I didn't even notice he was there most of the time. Luke has a very calming and uplifting presence, he is the perfect photographer because he is so supportive and understanding. The perfect photographer to capture any wedding day and absolutely great value for money! If you want stand out photos, I couldn't recommend Luke any more!

Luke photographed our wedding recently and where do I start… the pictures were jaw droppingly incredible! He didn’t miss a thing and got pictures I had no idea he was taking. Every guest, every emotion, every moment was captured so beautifully. The quality is immaculate and nothing was too much to ask. He went above and beyond to get everything and was exactly where he needed to be at the right time and totally fitted in with the day! I now find myself scrolling through the pictures several times a day just reliving the day through them. I can confidently say having Luke as your photographer isn’t just a want, it’s a need! We flew Luke out to Dublin for our wedding and honestly, it was one of the best decisions we made. I have followed Lukes work for years and knew I wanted him to capture our day — his style is creative and natural! From the moment Luke arrived, he was relaxed, friendly, and totally professional. Genuine Artist!! We could not have been happier with Luke's service, his professionalism, candidness and kindness was exceptional. Luke was our dream photographer even before he arrived, he worked with us via e-mail to figure out all kinds of shots, and timings before the date and was so incredible on the day it was like a wish come true. I searched high and low for a photographer who made art from wedding shoots, not just photos, the fact that he's an actual artist, not just a wedding photographer really drew us to choosing him as our man. On the day he was so good at getting people organised for shots and framing them perfectly that for a split second I thought, oh this is just going to look like a wedding photo, not anything special, but gosh, when we saw the frames afterward, we were blown away. He seemed to know exactly how to use the light, the architecture, and nature to his advantage, something you just don't get from your average joe. Every frame we were sent was just beautiful. I've never once been happier with a photo, than I am with his. My husband (I can say that now!) wasn't too bothered with getting really smashing photos, but after meeting Luke, he seemed to really get into it, even to the point of being excited waiting for the gallery. There were real tears, from a hardened Scot, no less! Luke Woodford really is a genuine artist, even when he's just shooting weddings 🙂

Amazing artist!—Not only he will capture each moment beautifully but he will make into an art. I don’t even know how I came across Luke’s website—I believe it was God’s doing. All I know is that it was destined to happen, and I’m so glad it did. The way he captured our wedding through his perspective is just amazing! We received timeless, authentic, and raw moments in every photo. My favorite part was when Luke would direct us into poses that made us look naturally beautiful. Thank you for being amazing, Luke!
